Victoria Park Community Garden

The Friends of Victoria Park were helped by Food4Macc for help in establishing a fruit garden in the park.
The new bed is oval (about 3m x 5m) and situated between the wild flower bed
and the bowling green, near to the Buxton Road entrance.
Food4Macc acquired fruit bushes and an apple tree for the bed, and helped with the planting out on Sunday 9th November 2014.
The Friends will provide the ongoing maintenance of the bed, (weeding and watering) and would be pleased to hear from anyone interested in helping with this and their other projects in the park.
